Our Purpose

At Mindful Brain Lab, our mission is simple:

to empower people worldwide to achieve their goals, embrace happiness, and feel their absolute best.

We do this by focusing on the core of health—the brain and gut—and providing high-quality supplements that support their vital functions, enabling optimal health, mental clarity, and vitality.

To achieve true health, we believe that focusing on the brain and gut is essential.

These two interconnected organs are foundational to both mental and physical well-being, and their health directly impacts your longevity, happiness, and overall quality of life.

Why you ask?

The Brain

The brain governs everything from cognitive function and emotions to memory and behaviour.

As the control center for your thoughts, feelings, and actions, it is central to your overall health and vitality. A healthy brain is crucial for mental clarity, motivation, and happiness.

By nurturing brain health, we can lower the risk of neurodegenerative diseases, enhance memory retention, and improve mood regulation—leading to a more fulfilling and successful life.

When the brain is healthy, it produces healthy thoughts—thoughts that support your aspirations, drive, and emotional well-being.

A nourished brain is essential for maintaining not just mental health, but also physical health, as neuroplasticity and cognitive function are intertwined with the body’s systems.

The Gut

The gut is often referred to as our second brain, and for good reason. It's home to over 500 million neurons, making it the most complex neural network in the body aside from the brain. This vast neural system allows the gut to operate somewhat independently of the central nervous system, yet it constantly communicates with the brain to ensure your body functions properly.

The gut and brain are connected through the gut-brain axis, a complex communication system that allows these two organs to exchange vital information. The health of your gut influences how the brain interprets that information, which ultimately affects your mental state.

When the gut is compromised, it can lead to mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and cognitive impairment.

Conversely, when the brain is healthy, it helps regulate the body’s processes for maintaining gut health.

What has brain & gut health have to do with my mental health?

Actually, it has everything to do with it!

Your mental health and gut health are not separate entities, they are intimately connected. The gut is the foundation for the nutrients and signals that nourish the brain, and an imbalanced gut can result in an imbalanced mind.

malnourished brain often leads to mental health struggles such as depression and anxiety, highlighting the importance of optimising both brain and gut health.

Disorders related to the gut-brain axis may include:

  • Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS)
  • Functional constipation or diarrhoea
  • Anxiety and depressive disorders
  • Non-cardiac chest pain
  • Functional dyspepsia (indigestion)
  • Gastroparesis (delayed stomach emptying)
  • Chronic stress and fatigue
  • Chronic pain conditions
  • Obesity and metabolic disorders
  • Neurodegenerative disorders such as Parkinson’s disease
  • Nerve-related pain disorders, such as multiple sclerosis
  • Neurodevelopmental disorders like autism

Upgrading your brain and gut health will be upgrading your life.

The science is clear:

optimising your brain and gut health will lead to a healthier, happier life.

focusing on improving these two essential systems, we can experience more energy, better cognitive function, stable emotions, and improved physical health.

The gut's neural network is just as critical as the brain itself, and its ability to independently regulate some of our body’s processes means it plays a vital role in our overall well-being.

Because the brain and gut are so closely connected, it is essential to feed both with the right nutrition and high-quality supplements to ensure that positive signals are communicated between them. When the gut sends healthy information to the brain, it improves everything from mood to mental clarity to immunity.

But when the gut is undernourished or imbalanced, negative signals can lead to disease, mental health challenges, chronic pain, and illness. This is why Mindful Brain prioritizes the health of both your brain and gut—helping them function harmoniously for a life of vitality and well-being.

At Mindful Brain, we understand that true health requires a holistic approach, and that's why we focus on the foundational elements of your body’s health: the brain and gut. By providing scientifically-backed, high-quality supplements, we help you nourish both, empowering you to live your best life—mentally, physically, and emotionally.

Our Founder's purpose

Meet our founder, Océane! She is a hypnotherapist and world traveler who has dedicated her life to helping others overcome trauma and reach their full potential.

At 13, she was diagnosed with a very rare cancer, which led her to fight for her life in the hospital for five years. Doctors told her that she might never walk again, let alone participate in sports, due to the damage chemotherapy had done to her body.

Chemotherapy severely damaged her body, which later led to a multitude of diagnoses, along with terrible brain fog and chronic fatigue.

Océane also struggled significantly with her mental health, and with both her physical and mental health at an all-time low, she decided to take control of her life.

She began studying how to rewire the brain and create lifelong mental health changes. Through this journey, she realized that brain health and gut health were the key factors in creating lasting improvements in both mental and physical health.

A year and a half after being told she would never do sports again, Océane competed in a 21km Spartan race—and won. She later competed and placed in all division, in bodybuilding competitions, as well as becoming an aerialist acrobat.

Océane’s personal journey inspired her to create a brand that thrives on helping others create their own success stories. Whether their goal is to improve brain and gut health for a happier mind, a healthier body, or more motivation and energy to achieve financial freedom, Océane’s mission is to help them get there.

Océane’s mother also has Parkinson’s disease. By creating a brand that supports brain health, Océane hopes to help her mother manage her symptoms and provide others with solutions to avoid neurodegenerative diseases.
